The Latest Male Beauty Craze: Toe Hair Removal

As a woman, I feel like I'm constantly fighting a battle with unwanted hair—on my legs, my arms, my brows, my upper lip, my hooha…need I go on?

And, with the rise of manscaping, guys are finally getting a little taste of how much work it takes to keep all that fuzz in check. In fact, some of them have taken the quest for de-furring one step further, effectively creating a new beauty treatment trend for guys: Toe hair removal.

According to the Daily Mail, guys are increasingly ridding their little piggies of hair, undergoing about eight laser treatments—and shelling out $1,000—to do so. The craze is currently sweeping London and I imagine it will make its way stateside soon enough.

But, honestly, it is really necessary? How often do you really see, or pay attention to, a guy's feet? And can't they just shave it off? That grand could be better spent, IMHO.

Though, I'm probably biased: My guy's toes rival those of Tolkien's hobbits. He's got curlicues of hair on his feet—which his friends are kind enough to make fun of—but I really, truly don't find them gross. (I guess that's love?)

However, in the interest of full disclosure, I, too, have toe hair, which I shave off when I remember to. My guy's never noticed it (or at least has never said anything), so I really don't think it's that big of a deal.

Because, seriously, there are more important things to worry about than a little toe hair, right?
